LAND OF LIGHT, my long awaited 2nd book has arrived and I'm thrilled with the results, it's stunning. Beautifully crafted with 232 pages of outstanding print quality, this personally signed Collector's Edition tips the scales at 2.2kg and its presentation box is a work of art as well, adding an extra 0.5kg!

From pristine pohutukawa fringed beaches in the north, to snow capped mountains and alpine lakes of the south, I have invested extraordinary energies to showcase many of the country’s off-shore islands as well, including Chatham and Pitt, the Aldermens, Great Barrier and Stewart Island. This unique book portrays the breadth and beauty of New Zealand like you have never seen before and includes dozens of breathtaking double page panoramas.

I’ve invested almost 1000 hours in designing, writing and editing, all with meticulous attention to detail. Carefully selected satin paper achieves the critically correct balance of quality versus weight and extensive image proofing has ensured the highest standards of colour balance and accuracy, further enhanced by slowing the offset printing process to optimise reproduction. From the moment you see its handmade box with embossed silver foil lettering, you'll be impressed. The INSIGHTS + TECHNIQUE chapter provides technical information and stories that reveal how I photographed my most iconic images, with references to videos on this website that allow you to actually experience being there as I captured some of them. This has been a true labour of love, a mammoth self-publishing project and one which I'm very proud of.
