“I stumbled across this pair of Tuis near Maraetai that were exchanging words (possibly over who’s flax bush this is?!) I desaturated the background for contrast & to throw emphasis on the Tuis & the flax flowers. This proved to be a very popular piece which sold out many years ago.”
