“As I neared Lake Hauroko, I spotted a creek and decided I should follow it ... I wandered off into the bush for 30 mins to see if I could find a unique perspective and when I came across this cathedral of light, I was like Wow! It took me another 30 mins to set up my equipment and capture 28 overlapping frames that this image is composed from (like a big jigsaw puzzle). I was fortunate that the light stayed constant all this time and there was only an occasional breath of wind.”
