Peter's World

"Solitude"

“As I neared lake Hauroko, I passed over a creek & knew that water was what I needed to marry with all the beautiful bush around me. So I wandered off into the dense forest for 30 minutes to see what I could find & I stumbled across this beautiful setting, it was like a cathedral of light! I then spent another 30 minutes setting up my gear & capturing 28 overlapping frames that this is composed from - much like a big jigsaw puzzle. I was fortunate that the light stayed constant throughout & there was only a slight breath of wind. The end result of merging so many frames has preserved extremely fine detail, allowing this scene to be enlarged to almost life-like sizes.”

“When Peter delivered our pieces, we couldn't believe the incredible detail. The images on his website - impressive as they are - really didn't do our prints justice!“
