"Morning Glory"

“I scoured a few beaches the previous day & found these brilliant Pohutukawa branches in full bloom with Rangitoto island behind, perfect! But the weather forecast was looking to turn for the worse, so I woke at 5am the next morning & captured this scene at 6am. As I packed up my equipment & headed home over the harbour bridge, the clouds were already dominating the sky.”
