“What a phenomenal last day of spring! After fears the track would close due to too much snow the night before & the resulting avalanche risk, we finally got the green light & were able to walk! Such incredible light & drama, we were in a tiny pocket of sunshine & in large prints you can see it was still snowing. One of those very rare experiences that standout as a real highlight, snowballs came in handy to defend my pack from a pair of troublesome Keas!"

Equipment: 60Mp Phase One DB + Mamiya AFD 645 + 45mm lens

Exposure: 1/250 sec @ f16 ISO 200

6 frames stitched for maximum detail & clarity (original file over 700 Mb)
