Peter's World

"Garden Gully"

"This stamper batter is a relic from the gold mining days on the west coast, when they used to smash the quartz to pieces, in order to extract any gold. Can you imagine the racket that must have made, it must have been deafening!

Long since abandoned as it never produced much gold at all, it's probably the best preserved machinery of its era I'v ever seen, tucked away in a peaceful corner of the Paparoa track."

“When Peter delivered our pieces, we couldn't believe the incredible detail. The images on his website - impressive as they are - really didn't do our prints justice!“
