“I woke in Lake Tekapo to a thick blanket of fog, but it soon cleared as I approached along the shores of Lake Pukaki to become this perfect, crystal clear autumn day. I quickly sought an interesting vantage point to capture Mount Cook with the beautiful trees and raced up this hill side, just before the sun got any higher!"

Equipment: 60Mp Phase One DB + Mamiya AFD 645 + 80mm lens

Exposure: 1/25 sec @ f22 ISO 200
