“Waking to a thick blanket of fog in Lake Tekapo, I was surprised just how quickly it cleared as I approached the shores of Lake Pukaki, to reveal this crystal clear autumn morning. I raced to find this vantage point to record Mount Cook with these brilliantly lit trees & sprinted up this hill side, capturing these long shadows in the foreground, before the sun could get any higher."
